KAMLOOPS — A School District 73 survey of graduating students finds three-quarters plan to pursue a post-secondary education.
The 75 per cent total is up 16.5 per cent from 2007, according to a report coming to the district’s Board of Education at its next meeting.
Forty-six per cent of respondents plan to further their education at Thompson Rivers University, and 29 per cent plan to attend university or college elsewhere.
The report notes the percentage of students planning to work part-time or full-time after their graduation also increased, though the survey allowed multiple responses per question.
