BLUE RIVER, B.C. — A mischief call in Blue River Tuesday (June 18) led police to a man with outstanding warrants.

RCMP Spokesperson Cpl. Madonna Saunderson says when officers stopped a vehicle associated, a passenger took off.

“A passenger in the vehicle was identified as wanted by the RCMP with a warrant out of Chilliwack. [He] fled on foot from the police, and of course the police used some support services, including conservation officers as well as the police dog service and the man was apprehended,” said Saunderson.

Clearwater residents say the arrest happened in their community.
