KAMLOOPS — A decision in the trial of Nathaniel Jessup is expected this Friday.

Jessup is accused of second-degree murder in the death of 20-year-old Dylan Judd in November, 2014. Judd’s body was found in the Kamloops Regional Correctional Centre cell he shared with Jessup.

The death was not initially deemed suspicious until the BC Coroners Service alerted police to potential criminality. Charges were filed against Jessup two years after the death.

Jessup’s lawyers have argued that Judd’s death was a suicide.
