KAMLOOPS — The family of a missing Kamloops man says his disappearance is highly out of character.

According to Kamloops RCMP, 57-year-old Lorne Hamer-Jackson was last seen Saturday evening (June 15).

Hamer-Jackson has not been in contact with his family, who say he does not have his cell phone or any identification with him.

He is believed to be driving his wife’s black 2007 Chevrolet Cobalt, with the B.C. license plate PBJ 430. A family member says the insurance documents in the vehicle may be the only documentation bearing personal information Hamer-Jackson has with him.
