Celebrating Father’s Day in Kamloops

KAMLOOPS — Those looking to celebrate dads and the men in their lives today have a number of Father’s Day events to choose from in Kamloops.
- A Father’s Day Prostate Cancer Run will be held at the B.C Wildlife Park this morning. Registration opens at 8 a.m with the walk kicking off at 9:30 a.m.
- Walloper Lake Provincial Park will play host to a Father’s Day Fish Out today from 10 a.m until 2 p.m, with boats, fishing rods, bait, burgers and hot dogs provided.
- The Coast Kamloops Hotel and Conference Centre is hosting a Father’s Day brunch, catered by Romeo’s, from 11:00 a.m to 2:00 p.m this afternoon.
- Tobiano has a Father’s Day golf special on today- a round of golf, plus a dozen Titleist Pro V1 Golf Balls for $130. A number of meal specials are also on this afternoon at their Black Iron Restaurant.
