Quesnel man dies after explosion on residential property

QUESNEL, B.C. — A man is dead in Quesnel after an explosion at a residential property.
RCMP in Quesnel responded to the complaint of an explosion on Wednesday, June 12 at 4:45 pm. When they arrived on scene police found the 56-year-old deceased in his shop.
The cause of the incident is still under investigation by the RCMP, Quesnel Fire Department and BC Coroner Service. Police say the incident does not appear to be suspicious .
