KAMLOOPS — Starting tomorrow, your commute in Kamloops could change slightly.

The city will be conducting a water main repair on the Pacific Way Overpass, which will close the road starting at 7:00 a.m Sunday (June 9), until 8:00 p.m Monday (June 10).

Meanwhile in Brocklehurst, Tranquille Road between Windbreak Street and Schreiner Street will be closed Monday (June 10) to Friday (June 14) from 7:00 a.m to 7:00 p.m for water and sewer servicing.

Transit users in the Brock area will have access to four temporary stops set up along Tranquille Road, Windbreak Street, and Young Avenue during the week.

Detours will be in place with only local traffic allowed through the area.

Drivers are asked to take caution when approaching the construction areas and pay attention to any and all signs.

Along with the two projects in Brocklehurst and Pacific Way, the road improvement efforts along Valleyview Drive and Victoria Street West will be continuing as usual.
