Tattoos lead to arrest of escapee

SALMON ARM— Sometimes ink looks nice, But an escaped inmate who police had been looking for, for nearly 3 years was busted in Salmon Arm… because of his tattoos.

An officer recognized the man, but when they questioned him, he wouldn’t give his correct name. But what the man didn’t know is that the RCMP database also has records of tattoos and other distinct markings and that’s how he was positively identified.
