Garand invited to Hockey Canada camp

KAMLOOPS — Kamloops Blazers goaltender Dylan Garand has been invited to a Hockey Canada goaltenders camp in Calgary this week.

Garand will be one of four goaltenders in the U-18 Hockey Canada camp, and the only one from the Western Hockey League.

Garand is expected to be the Blazers number one netminder next season, inheriting the mantle from Vegas Golden Knights prospect Dylan Ferguson, who graduated through overage this past season.

This weeks Hockey Canada camp brings together the top goaltending talent from across the country, and serves as the initial evaluation stage for summer development and selection camps for Canada’s national teams.
