WolfPack and Classics McRae complete first swim at Best Fest Open water in Spain

KAMLOOPS — WolfPack and Classics swimmer Ryley McRae is holding his own at an international open water event in Spain.

McRae was 11th in a 1.5 kilometer event with a time of 17 minutes 11 seconds.

The event featured 39 swimmers in the elite division and 251 in the race.

Yesterday McRae was 7th in the 5K.

The Spanish event is his second international open-water competition.
