Merritt’s Sloan tied for 2nd at Fort Worth

KAMLOOPS — A great start for Roger Sloan at the PGA Charles Schwab Championship in Fort Worth, Texas.

The Merritt golfer shot a round of six birdies and a bogey for a five under 65.

Sloan is one shot off the lead held by Tony Finau, and is tied for second with Jordan Spieth.

Sloan has made the cut in nine of 18 PGA starts this year, and has earnings of $516,530.
