Terrace to get new $447.5 million state-of-the-art hospital

TERRACE, B.C. — Terrace will be upgrading their current 78-bed hospital to a state-of-the-art one more than double its size.
The business plan for the $447.5 million new Mills Memorial Hospital was completed and approved and will soon get underway. The upgrade will see the current 124,969 square foot hospital turned into a 284,000 square foot one.
“This is an exciting time for people in Terrace and area, as we are delivering on the goal of a modern, bigger hospital that will be part of a network of care in the North that will have more beds and up-to-date technology to improve patients’ care,” said Adrian Dix, Minister of Health.
