Kamloops Blaze U14 Girls at Slurpee Cup

The Kamloops Blaze Select U14 Girls battled against Prince George, Sherwood Park, Calgary and Shuswap teams at the Slurpee Cup on McArthur Island this weekend. Kamloops had one win, two losses, and a tie that ended in a shootout. Goals scored for Kamloops over the weekend were by Lolita Persad and Kennedy Gelineau. The team was fortunate to have Grace McDonald join the team both as keeper and midfielder while they welcomed back injured keeper Rhiannon Nesbitt this weekend. Slurpee Cup provided the Kamloops team with fresh competition and spectators enjoyed a weekend of great soccer. Kamloops will be heading into their next TOYSL game on Sunday, May 26th in Revelstoke.
