McHappy Day raises more than $77,000 in Kamloops and Merritt

KAMLOOPS — Local McDonald’s restaurants are more than happy about the results from Wednesday’s McHappy Day.

In a tweet, the restaurants say $77,527.35 was raised between the McDonald’s locations in Kamloops and Merritt.

The event saw one dollar from the sale of every Big Mac, Happy Meal and hot McCafe beverage donated to Ronald McDonald House and other children’s charities.

Provincewide and nationwide results will be available later today.
