Salmon Arm church murder suspect in court

SALMON ARM, B.C. — A man accused of a gunning down another man in a Salmon Arm church, has made another court appearance.

25 year old Matrix Gathergood is charged with the first degree murder of 78 year old Gord Parmenter who was killed while attending church April 14th.

He’s also charged with aggravated assault after a second man was shot in the leg.

A third charge is for disguise with intent to commit an indictable offence.
