Crime of the Week #3
Kamloops Crime Stoppers says a liquor thief will have to do a lot more than apologize to make amends for his deeds.
On May 4 at 8:00 p.m., a man walked into a North Shore liquor store and picked out a “large selection” of alcohol. Upon ringing up his selection at the till, the man’s debit card was rejected.
Undaunted, the man grabbed the card and his selections and ran, yelling “Sorry!” to the cashier on his way out the door.
