May long weekend camping spots still available throughout Thompson Cariboo

KAMLOOPS — Despite an increase in the number of campground bookings across the province, there are still some camping spots left around the Thompson-Cariboo.

In a statement, the Ministry of Environment says May long weekend is one of the busiest times for BC Parks, however there are a few parks in the Thompson Cariboo that have some spots left.

As of Friday, North Thompson River, Wells Gray, Lac La Hache, and Horsefly Lake campgrounds have availabilities,.
