Thank you for your continued support of students at Shuswap Middle School in the SMS Hockey class and the hockey program opportunity at our school. SASCU is a fantastic supporter of education, community, and sport partnerships and has been a part of the SMS Hockey legacy since its inception.

Non-Profit U Grow Girl First Annual Family Fun Day Thank you SASCU! Thanks to SASCU’s vital $250 sponsorship, our first-ever Family Fun Day fundraiser raised $4,500 to support Time To Heal, Canada’s only free healing retreat for survivors of child sexual abuse. This crucial support helped us reach our fundraising goal and offer survivors on our waitlist a space at this year’s retreat in November 2025. We are deeply grateful to SASCU for standing with survivors and making healing possible.

We are currently recruiting volunteer Peer Support Group Facilitators virtually and regionally across British Columbia. Some of our support groups have recently closed due to a facilitator shortage and we need your help! We know that peer support groups offer a crucial lifeline to people living with borderline personality disorder and the hope is to not only keep our doors open, but keep expanding. If you are or know a person living with BPD or a loved one of someone living with BPD and are interested in facilitating at one of our support groups, we would love to hear from you! The areas of greatest need right now are in Nanaimo, Vancouver, Kelowna, and Victoria. Training is held every 2nd Saturday of each month 1-5 pm (PST) over Zoom.
