KAMLOOPS — TRU took three of four from Vancouver Island University in CCBC play this weekend. They swept the Mariners 7-6 and 11-1 on Saturday.

On Sunday….TRU hammered VIU 10-1 in the first game. Joe Siniscalchi won his fourth straight decision (4-0) going seven and two thirds striking out 11 and giving up a run and three hits.

TRU had 10 runs on 10 hits including six runs in the 8 th. Taylor Van Ham was 2 for 6 with 3 RBI and two runs scored.

Adam Filmon was 2 for 6 with 3 RBI and a run scored.

The final game saw VIU score 12 times in the fourth inning and rolled to a 13-7 win. TRU had three runs in the 8 th. Bryant Jameus lost to go1-3 on the year. He pitched three and a third giving up 11 runs on 10 hits.

Offensively Malik (Ma-leek) James was 2 for 4 with 3 RBI. Van Ham was 2 for 3 with 2 runs scored and a run batted in. Tyron James was 1-4 with three runs scored.

The Pack have a record of 19-6. Tops in CCBC.
