Police in Williams Lake investigating shots fired

WILLIAMS LAKE, B.C. — RCMP in Williams Lake are investigating after shots were fired in the city.

In a news release, Cpl. Madonna Saunderson says officers responded to a report of shots fired around 1:16 a.m. April 25.

It had been reported that shots were fired near local business Diamonds and Dust Entertainment.

Saunderson says police immediately responded and have identified the person or people believed to be responsible. No injuries were reported.
