BC Wildlife Park mourning loss of nine-year-old moose

KAMLOOPS — Cherry the Moose, who called BC Wildlife Park home for the past four years, has died.
In a Facebook post, the park says Cherry died from natural causes on Saturday (April 27).
“Our dedicated animal care team ensured that Cherry received the best care available while managing some significant chronic disease issues,” the Facebook post says. “During the last month, Cherry had been experiencing health issues above and beyond what we had been managing previously.”
