Canfor announces temporary curtailments

PRINCE GEORGE — Canfor Corporation has announced more production curtailments in BC.
The softwood giant has announced another round of curtailments at all but one of its BC sawmills for a one-week period. The company cites low lumber prices and high log costs. The downtime will take 100 million board feet out of production.
The curtailment will begin on April 29th. Canfor says the Mackenzie operation will be down for an additional week in May.
