MONTREAL — A man charged in connection to benefiting from sexual services could be in a number of areas across the country — including Greater Vancouver.

Police in Montreal say they are actively seeking Louis Edcar Augustin on a Canada-wide arrest warrant.

He’s facing charges of assault, receiving a material benefit derived from sexual services, advertising sexual services and procurement.

The 28-year-old is described as 6’1″, and 190 lbs. He speaks French and Creole. B.C. RCMP say he could be in the greater Vancouver, Toronto, Edmonton, Calgary or Winnipeg areas.

He may use aliases of David Desrosiers, Denis Louis, Youngp Besifra, Pizzle, or Pezol, and could be using fake identification.

If you think you have seen Augustin, do not approach him, but call 911 as he’s considered violent.

Montreal investigators say a reward of up to $2,000 will be offered for any information sent to Info-Crime Montreal at (514) 393-1133.
