KAMLOOPS — A tanker carrying aluminum sulfate has overturned near the Thompson River, but the province says there has been no release.
According to B.C.’s Ministry of Environment and Climate Change, the tanker overturned in the 3300-block of Mission Flats Road, not far from the City of Kamloops Sewage Treatment Centre.
There were no injuries in the crash, and no other vehicle involved.
The ministry says the tanker was carrying aluminum sulfate, a coagulating agent often used for water purification.
