Real Estate Magazine lauds Kamloops as prime spot for first-time buyers

KAMLOOPS — Real Estate Magazine has named Kamloops one of the top cities in Canada for first-time home buyers.
The online magazine, targeted at realtors, lists Kamloops alongside Halifax and the Ontario cities of London and Guelph.
It praises Kamloops for its “relaxed, outdoorsy vibe” and says it appeals to millennials, with its “arts and culture, yoga studios, restaurants and a farmers’ market, plus amazing proximity to hiking, skiing, fishing and snow sports.”
The article notes buying in Kamloops is much more affordable than in Vancouver.
