Snowbombing set to go off on Sun Peaks this weekend
SUN PEAKS, B.C. — One of the biggest events of the Sun Peaks calendar year is set to explode on the mountain resort this weekend.
Snowbombing enters its third year on Tod Mountain promising its biggest party yet.
Chief Marketing Officer Aidan Kelly says about 3,000 people have already bought tickets or secured accomodations, but he expects that number to balloon in the coming days.
“There are a lot of last-minute sales that are flowing in,” said Kelly. “Then you’ve got all the locals who are sort of on the periphery a little bit. They dip their toe in the water for a day here and there… just check it out as it’s going on. It does make for a busy weekend. We’ll have upwards of 5,000 people milling around the resort.”
