Steady March for City of Kamloops construction sector

KAMLOOPS — March was a steady month for the Kamloops building community.

New numbers released Monday (April 1) by the City of Kamloops show $16.3 million in permit activity last month, almost identical to the same month in 2018.

That brings the year-to-date total to $32.2 million, about 16 per cent less than the end of last March.

$7.9 million in building activity was recorded in the ‘Institutional’ category last month.
