Playoff series is tied as bad blood flows between the Blazers and Victoria Royals
KAMLOOPS — The Kamloops Blazers scored three unanswered goal in just over seven minutes in the third period for a 6-3 win over the Victoria Royals to tie the first round playoff series at 2-2.
The teams exchanged first period goals when Kyrell Sopotyk and Connor Zary scored for the Blazers and Dino Kambeitz scored twice for the Royals.
There was another exchange of single goals in the second by Zane Franklin and Igor Martynov, before an explosive third period in a series that has become increasingly physical and with plenty of bad blood between the two teams.
