Alanis Morissette Has Big News

Alanis Morissette just announced she is pregnant with her third child and it looks like she is also working on new music.

“so much NEWness… ,” Alanis captioned a photo of herself singing at a makeshift recording studio. You can clearly see her growing baby bump in the pic.

According to a source, Morissette’s reference to “so much newness” is also a nod to her upcoming “new album, new musical and new chapter.” The musical, titled Jagged Little Pill, is based on her 1995 hit record of the same name and is expected to debut this fall.

Alanis, 44, and her husband Mario “Souleye” Treadway are the parents of son Ever, 8, and daughter Onyx, 2. The couple got married back in May 2010.
