KAMLOOPS — Police say speed is likely a factor in a crash involving five teens earlier today.
Kamloops RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Jodi Shelkie says in a news release that officers responded to a single vehicle crash on Tranquille Road near the turnoff to Tranquille Farms just before noon.
The SUV was travelling eastbound toward Kamloops when the driver didn’t negotiate a corner, and the vehicle went into the ditch, rolling several times.
There were five teenagers in the vehicle — four exited on their own and one had to be extracted by Kamloops Fire Rescue.
