ISNEY’S ALADDIN DROPS TRAILER: The first full-length trailer for Disney‘s live-action Aladdin has debuted, with Mena Massoud‘s Aladdin making one of his first three wishes. Will Smith‘s Genie also appears, telling him,”You look like a prince on the outside, but I didn’t change anything on the outside.” The Guy Ritchie-helmed film is based on the 1992 animated film from the House of Mouse. Naomi Scott is also starring as Jasmine, and Marwan Kenzari plays Jafar. Aladdin soars into theaters May 24th.

GAL GADOT SUPPORTS BRIE LARSON: Wonder Woman‘s Gal Gadot congratulated Captain Marvel‘s Brie Larson on the successful opening of her film, which surpassed both 2017’s Beauty and the Beast and Wonder Woman to become the highest-grossing female-led film to debut ever. “I’m so happy for you sister! Congrats,” Gadot wrote to the star over an image of their two characters arm in arm by Maxy Artwork. Captain Marvel garnered $153 million in its first weekend out. Have you seen it yet?

DISNEY SETS CLOSING DATE FOR FOX BUY: Disney has set March 20th as the closing date for the acquisition of 21st Century Fox. Fox shareholders have until Thursday to choose the amount of cash and Disney stock to receive in the $71.3 billion deal, the House of Mouse revealed Tuesday.

HULU, SPOTIFY CUT PRICE OF BUNDLE: Hulu and Spotify are cutting the price of their combo bundle, with Hulu’s ad-supported plan being made available gratis to Spotify’s current Premium subscribers, Variety reports. From now through June 10, new Spotify Premium subscribers can sign on for $9.99 a month, down from $12.99. New subscribers will be able to tap Spotify and Hulu for the first 30 days. Hulu recently slashed the price of its ad-supported plan from $7.99 to $5.99 per month.
