KAMLOOPS — Dan Kordic is going into the Alberta Sports Hall of Fame — for the second time.
The Blazers assistant coach is already into the Hall of Fame as a player on the 1987 and 1988 Memorial Cup champion Medicine Hat Tigers. The Tigers won back-to-back national championships, and both teams were inducted into the Alberta Sports Hall of Fame in 2007.
But Kordic and the championship teams are now going into the Alberta Hockey Hall of Fame in a ceremony in July.
Canucks legend Trevor Linden and former Blazers player Rob DiMaio were also on both of those Medicine Hat teams.
