Who’s the Youngest Billionaire?

Mar 6, 2019 | 5:30 AM

At age 21, reality star and makeup maven Kylie Jenner is officially the world’s youngest billionaire, Forbes reports. On Tuesday, the magazine released its annual ranking of the planet’s richest people for 2019, and announced that not only did Kylie crack the coveted list, but said she became the “youngest self-made billionaire of all time.”

Of the list of 2,153 billionaires, Kylie slots in at number 2,057. The magazine credits her much of her success to Kylie Cosmetics, which she founded in 2015 with just lip kits. She soon expanded the line to include a whole range of cosmetics, and also launched collabs with her sisters Khloe and Kim Kardashian.

Kim is the second-richest of the KarJenner clan, coming in at around $350 million.

The reception to this news on social media was mixed. Many protested to the characterization of “self-made,” while others protested the protestors, pointing out that Kylie has leveraged herself above and beyond her considerable opportunities, and has literally hundreds of millions more than her similarly advantaged siblings.

ROLLER SKATING

On a more lighthearted note, Kylie and Khloe also showed their sisterly love for each other this week by hitting a roller skating rink Monday. The pair posted cute videos of their exploits on Instagram Stories. The sisters appeared carefree and happy, despite serious bumps in their love lives of late. (ICYMI, Khloe recently split from Tristan Thompson after he cheated on her with Kylie’s BFF Jordyn Woods, and Kylie’s boyfriend Travis Scott reportedly cheated on her, rumors Travis strongly denied).
