KAMLOOPS — For the second time in two months, a robber has hit the Sahali 7-Eleven store.

According to a release from Kamloops RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Jodi Shelkie, a man walked into the Summit Drive store at about 2:00 a.m. on Monday (Mar. 4).

The man brandished a knife, told the clerk to open the cash register and took was was inside before fleeing on foot.

RCMP say the clerk was not injured.

Suspect description:

  • White
  • Wearing brown jacket, red shirt, blue jeans, black and white bandana, black gloves and running shoes

Shelkie notes the same store was robbed on January 8.

Though the times and methods were similar, Shelkie says there is no evidence linking yesterday’s robbery to the January incident, or any other robberies in Kamloops over the past month.

Anyone with information on the robbery is asked to contact Kamloops RCMP at (250) 828-3000 or Crime Stoppers at 1 (800) 222-8477.
