KAMLOOPS — Kamloops RCMP are investigating a home invasion last night that injured one man.

In a release this morning, Staff Sgt. Michel Grondin says around 8:30 p.m last night, police were called to the North Shore area for a report of a home invasion in the 100 block of Yew Street.

Four men forced their way into a home, assaulting the occupants with bear mace and a baton.

Grondin says one man suffered non-life threatening injuries but had to be taken to a local medical facility.
