BARBRA STREISAND CHOSE NOT TO INTRODUCE A STAR IS BORN: Barbra Streisand opted to not introduce A Star Is Born at the Oscars, and asked to discuss Spike Lee‘s BlacKkKlansman instead. RAY LIOTTA IN TALKS TO STAR IN SOPRANOS PREQUEL: Goodfellas star Ray Liotta is in negotiations to join the cast of The Many Saints of Newark, The Sopranos prequel film that New Line is putting into production this spring. “I am thrilled to be working with David Chase and Alan Taylor on The Many Saints of Newark,” Liotta said. “David’s talent is unmatched and the directing of Alan Taylor makes this even more exciting. I respect them both immensely and look forward to making this special project with New Line.” (Deadline)

LISA SHERIDAN DIES AT 44: Invasion and Halt and Catch Fire star Lisa Sheridan has died at age 44. “We all loved Lisa very much and are devastated by the loss we all feel,” her manager Mitch Clem tells People. “She passed away Monday morning, at home, in her apartment in New Orleans. We are waiting for a coroners report on cause of death.” He adds that she did not die by suicide. (People)

Oprah Winfrey will be hosting an after show Q&A for HBO‘s Leaving Neverland documentary. According to The Jasmine Brand, After Neverland will premiere on HBO and OWN on Monday (March 4th), following the airing of part two of the Leaving Neverland documentary. Winfrey will speak with Wade Robson and James Safechuck, along with the director Dan Reed in front of an audience of sexual abuse survivors. In other news, Michael Jackson‘s family has slammed HBO’s documentary, Leaving Neverland, saying that the film is money-driven. According to Complex, Jackson’s nephew Taj Jackson said, “It’s always been about money. I hate to say it when it’s my uncle, but it’s almost like they see a blank check. These people felt that they’re owed something. You know, instead of working for something, they blame everything on my uncle.”

Jackie Jackson added, “I don’t have to see that documentary. I know Michael. I’m the oldest brother. I know my brother. I know what he stood for. What he was all about. Bringing the world together. Making kids happy. That’s the kind of person he was.”
