A STAR IS BORN TO BE RE-RELEASED WITH MORE: Bradley Cooper‘s A Star Is Born will be re-released in more than 1,150 theaters with 12 minutes of previously unseen footage, Warner Bros. has announced. The one-week re-release begins Friday. So far, A Star Is Born has grossed more than $425 million worldwide. On Sunday, Lady Gaga won a Best Original Song Oscar for “Shallow.”

MATTEL AND MGM TEAM UP ON VIEW-MASTER FILM: Mattel and MGM are developing a live-action film based on Mattel’s toy line, View-Master. This will be the second collab between the organizations, following the February 15th partnership to spin the American Girl brand and story into a film.

BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY TO OPEN IN CHINA: Fox’s Bohemian Rhapsody is headed to China, according to reports. It is unclear if Bohemian Rhapsody will face edits before it’s released in China, which will reportedly drop on March 22nd.

NATHAN LANE IS IN FOR PENNY DREADFUL: Nathan Lane has joined the cast of Showtime’s upcoming Penny Dreadful: City of Angels, Variety reports. Lane will take on the character of Lewis Michener, an LAPD officer who partners with and mentors Tiago Vega (Daniel Zovatto).
