Coquihalla collision leaves cube van damaged, driver injured

KAMLOOPS — The northbound lanes on the Coquihalla near the Inks Lake exit were reduced to one following a collision on Monday afternoon between a cube van and a transport truck.

According to the Kamloops Fire Rescue, who attended the scene around 1 p.m., the driver of the cube van was pulled to the side of the road when the vehicle was struck by the transport truck.

The driver cube van, who was carrying kitchen cabinets in the back, sustained minor injuries in the collision.
