JUSTIN THEROUX ACCUSES NEIGHBOR OF ABUSE: Justin Theroux has been duking it out with his West Village neighbor for years, but their spat has taken an ugly turn. In a statement filed in Manhattan civil court, Theroux is claiming that his neighbor Norman Resnicow is a wife-beater, according to Page Six. He wrote: “Because my apartment is directly above the Resnicows’ apartment, I have had the misfortune over the years of personally overhearing Mr. Resnicow frequently scream at and berate Mrs. Resnicow, with some of those instances resulting in calls to 911.” He continued: “Although I cannot know for certain that Mrs. Resnicow’s injury [he is referring to a black eye] stems from the Sunday night altercation 2 days earlier, I am bringing this to the Court’s attention because, by all outward appearances, earlier attempts to go through the police have not been effective.” Theroux first filed suit in 2017, when he claimed Resnicow was harassing him over renovations he was doing in his own apartment. Resnicow and his wife (Barbara) deny Theroux’s claims.
KEVIN HART HITS THE GYM DURING OSCARS: Kevin Hart was supposed to host the Oscar, but stepped down after homophobic tweets of his sent years ago were resurfaced. So what did he do instead? “Kev was scheduled to host the #OSCARS tonight but you guys already know what happened,” his trainer wrote on Instagram. “In life, every disappointment is a BLESSING. the show goes on. Keep working CHAMP!!!” Hart also weighed in, writing: “When you feel like u have nothing left is when you find a way to push & give more….Always grinding. #HustleHart.”
SEINFELD SIDESTEPS BLAME IN PORSCHE SCAM: After getting hit with a lawsuit over a fake Porsche he sold via auction, Jerry Seinfeld is filing suit himself, claiming he the “man in the middle,” and that the Cali-based European Collectibles should be blamed for selling an allegedly fake 1958 Porsche Carrera Speedster, Page Six reports. “Jerry bought a car from European Collectibles that was certified in writing as authentic. He relied on that certification when he purchased it, during the time that he owned it, and when he sold it three years later,” Seinfeld’s lawyer Orin Snyder said in a statement. “Jerry has no liability in this matter, but he wants to do the right thing, and is therefore bringing this action to hold European Collectibles accountable for its own certification of authenticity, and to allow the court to determine the just outcome.”
