ELLIE GOULDING RELEASES ‘DO YOU REMEMBER’: Ellie Goulding has dropped her new song “Do You Remember,” which is featured in the end credits of the film Fighting with My Family, now in theaters nationwide. Ellie also recently announced the first single from her new album, Flux, set for a March 1st release date.
BEN PLATT PERFORMS ‘BAD HABIT’ LIVE ON ‘THE LATE SHOW’: Ben Platt hit the stage on the February 21st episode of The Late Show With Stephen Colbert for the debut television performance of his song “Bad Habit” from his upcoming solo album Sing to Me Instead, which will be available beginning March 29th. Ben also recently announced cities and dates for the Sing To Me Instead concert tour, including engagements in Boston, Chicago, Austin, Los Angeles, and New York City. “Holy moly the New York show is already sold out!,” Ben tweeted. “I’m overwhelmed by the support and very ready to sing my heart out for you all- for peeps in all the other gorgeous cities, there are still seats left and tickets are on sale today at 10 AM local! “
SARA BAREILLES DEBUTS ‘FIRE’ MUSIC VIDEO: Sara Bareilles has released the official music video for her new single “Fire.” The track is the second to be released from Bareilles’ fifth full length album, Amidst The Chaos, which will be released on April 5th. The visual for “Fire” was directed by Nicholas Lam. “The #fire is lit! Watch a love story unfold in dance, by the mesmerizing @DNLGYMN and @ChelseaTee1,” Sara tweeted. “Choreographed by the inimitable @traviswall. I am so excited to share this!”
A CELINE DION BIOPIC IN THE WORKS: There’s a Celine Dion biopic coming. The upcoming film, by Quebec director Marc-Andre Lavoie, will be called Cline Before Celine. The movie will “follow the iconic singer’s family upbringing before global stardom and life with future husband and manager Rene Angelil,” and is set to be produced in 2020. Celine’s nephew Jimmy Dion, the son of her brother Jacques, will work as a screenwriter. The movie has the support of her family. There is also a second Celine biopic called The Power of Love scheduled for 2020.
