Merritt’s Sloan has best finish, best cheque, of his PGA career

KAMLOOPS — Roger Sloan had the best finish and best cheque of his PGA career at the Puerto Rico Open.

The Merritt golfer finished at 12-under to tie for second and a pay day of $198,000.

Sloan finished three shots back of winner Martin Trainer.
