KAMLOOPS — The Kamloops Arts Council will have a new face come March.

Terri Hadwin has been appointed executive director of the KAC, a spot that recently opened after city councillor Kathy Sinclair announced she would be stepping down from the position.

Hadwin was most recently Chief Operating Officer of Gold Country Communities — a non-profit regional marketing organization.

“With Gold Country, I learned how to manage and grow a society that had finite resources,” Hadwin says in a news release. “I have learned that with a passionate Board of Directors, enthusiastic members, caring volunteers and a great team of staff, an organization’s accomplishments are limitless.”
