Antons named technical delegate to International Paralympic Committee

KAMLOOPS — He came to Kamloops from his native Germany as a 16-year-old when his older brother was playing for the Kamloops Blazers.

Jan Antons never left, became a Canadian citizen in 2004, and for the better part of the last two decades has immersed himself as a volunteer in the community in dozens of organizations and events.

His latest recognition for his volunteer work is international.

Antons has been named a technical delegate to the International Paralympic Committee and World Para Hockey.
