Suspect arrested after Rayleigh stabbing

KAMLOOPS — A 21-year-old man has been arrested after a stabbing in Rayleigh Thursday afternoon (Feb. 14).

According to a news release from Kamloops RCMP, Mounties were called to a home in the neighbourhood at about 4:35 p.m.

Once they got there, they found a man was suffering from stab wounds.

He was taken to hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

Police say the suspect had left the home by the time officers arrived, but they caught up with him a short time later and he was taken into custody without further incident.
