Shtukas plead for any information leading up to anniversary of Ryan’s disappearance

KAMLOOPS — On Sunday, it will be one year since Ryan Shtuka was last seen.

The 20-year-old, originally from Beaumont, Alta., disappeared after leaving a house party on Burfield Drive in Sun Peaks early in the morning on Feb. 17.

After he didn’t return home from the party, and didn’t show up to work that day, a missing persons report was filed.

Ryan’s parents Scott and Heather have been vocal through the past year, making sure Ryan’s name and face remain top of mind for people.

At an RCMP news conference today, they appealed for the public to come forward with any information.
