SARA BAREILLES REVEALS NEW ALBUM WILL BE TITLED ‘AMIDST THE CHAOS’: Sara Bareilles has released the title and cover art for her new album. The singer tweeted Wednesday that her fifth studio album will be called Amidst the Chaos and will become available for pre-order this Friday. The cover art features a black-and-white close-up of Sara with windblown hair. Sara also promised on Twitter that she has “much more in store for you this week” and advised fans to “stay tuned.” An official album release date is still to come. Bareilles shared additional details with her fans about what it was like writing the album, letting them know that the last few years have been intense and that she has a lot to say.
CARLY RAE JEPSEN PREVIEWS SONG, ‘NOW THAT I FOUND YOU,’ IN NEW ‘QUEER EYE’ PROMO: Carly Rae Jepsen is previewing some new music in the trailer for the third season of Netflix’s Queer Eye. An exclusive first listen to her song, “Now That I Found You,” soundtracks the self-love-touting promo. The clip begins with a group text from the Fab 5 – Tan, Jonathan, Antoni, Karamo and Bobby – where they ask each other their Valentine’s Day plans. “Listening to CRJ,” Antoni writes, as Carly’s song kicks in. The trailer ends by revealing Queer Eye’s third season premiere date: March 15th.

Lady Gaga is defending Cardi B after the rapper received backlash over her historic Grammy win over the weekend.The Mother Monster took to Twitter, calling Cardi “brave” and urging everyone to celebrate her victory. “It is so hard to be a woman in this industry,” Gaga wrote. “What it takes, how hard we work through the disrespectful challenges, just to make art.” She continued, “I love you Cardi. You deserve your awards. Let’s celebrate her fight. Lift her up & honor her. She is brave.”Cardi has previously spoken about how Gaga influenced her when she was younger. In 2016, she tweeted, “When I was a teenager lady Gaga changed my life. She inspired me to be myself & be different.”Over the weekend, Cardi became the first female solo artist to win the Best Rap Album category and almost immediately received criticism for it online. She deactivated her Instagram account Monday, shortly after posting an expletive-filled video hitting back against haters who said she didn’t deserve to win.Cardi B has since returned to Instagram. “Ok so I’m back from retirement,” she wrote in a new post.
