SAM SMITH & NORMANI SHARE BEHIND-THE-SCENES VIDEO FOR ‘DANCING WITH A STRANGER’: Sam Smith and Normani take fans inside their “Dancing with a Stranger” music video with a new behind-the-scenes clip. “We’re going A.I. inspired, very modern very futuristic,” Smith says, explaining the video concept. He goes on to say that having Normani on the song is a dream come true, because he has been a fan since her Fifth Harmony days. “Sitting listening to Normani sing in the studio was a joy,” he adds. “Today has been so memorable, honestly one of the best shoots that I’ve been on,” Normani also says while on set. “It’s mind-blowing that I can say in 2019 I’ll have a record with Sam Smith.”

BRUNO MARS HEADLINING INAUGURAL BENEFIT TO REVITALIZE ATLANTA’S WESTSIDE: Bruno Mars is set to headline the inaugural Beloved Benefitnext month, which aims to raise funds to revitalize the historic Westside of Atlanta, an area pivotal in the civil rights movement. British singer-songwriter Emeli Sand will also be performing, and Steve Harvey has signed on to host the evening. The March 21st event will take place on the field of Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium. One-hundred percent of the proceeds will go to local nonprofits.

LADY GAGA REACTS TO ‘A STAR IS BORN’S’ BAFTAS 2019 WIN: Lady Gaga was in the middle of getting ready for the 2019 Grammy Awards yesterday afternoon when she received the happy news that A Star Is Born has continued its winning streak at yet another ceremony. At the 2019 British Academy Film Awards, Gaga – along with her director and co-star Bradley Cooper and Lukas Nelson, who acted and served as a musical consultant in the film – won in the Best Original Music category. “I can’t believe we just won Best Original Music @BAFTA ‘s . I wish so much I was there but am at the Grammy’s to show them our love as well. We made a film about music. This means the world to me. Thank u to all our fans we love u so much, we wouldn’t be here without u #BAFTAs,” Gaga tweeted out to her followers. Cooper was in attendance to accept the prize.

Panic! At The Disco‘s Highest Hopes Foundation and band frontman Brendon Urie were recognized by the city of Providence, Rhode Island for their advocacy of human rights. The band shared the news on Twitter, writing, “The Highest Hopes Foundation + @brendonurie recently got recognized by the city of Providence + councilwoman Carmen Castillo for our advocacy for human rights. Now more than ever do we need to continue to fight the good fight.”In addition to receiving a Resolution of the City Council and an official citation, the foundation was given a heartfelt letter from Mayor Jorge Elorza that read in part, “(I) do hereby confer upon you this citation in recognition of your advocacy and dedication to all people and communities who are subject to discrimination and abuse on the basis of race, gender, religion, sexual orientation and gender identity.”For every ticket purchased on Panic! At The Disco’s current tour — which next stops in Albuquerque, New Mexico on Tuesday (February 12th), one dollar will go directly to the Highest Hopes Foundation.Urie launched the Highest Hopes Foundation last June, saying, “All of you show me strength, courage (and) motivation (and) as a result it felt important to create something to show you that I see the wonderful things you’re doing out there in the world. With that being said, I want to join in on the fight for those who cannot fight for themselves.”
