KAMLOOPS — A Liberal Party of Canada fundraiser in Kamloops last month brought party supporters from across the province and raised thousands of dollars for the party.

A report published online by Elections Canada shows 121 paid attendees at the fundraiser.

The January 9 event held at the Coast Kamloops Hotel and Conference Centre featured a speech by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

Attendees included former Kamloops-Thompson-Cariboo Liberal candidates John O’Fee and Ken Sommerfeld, as well as former Kamloops mayor and BC Liberal cabinet minister Terry Lake.
