Gaga Will Perform At the Grammys
After the Motion Picture Academy confirmed that Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper will perform their Oscar-nominated song “Shallow” at the Academy AwardsFebruary 24th, Deadline reports that Gaga will perform the song at the Grammys this weekend.
Billboard reported last week that Grammy organizers had invited Gaga to perform on the Sunday night telecast, where she’s up for four awards for “Shallow” – Record and Song of the Year, Best Song Written for Visual Media, and Best Pop Duo/Group Song, the latter with duet partner Cooper. She’s also nominated for a fifth Grammy: Best Pop Solo Performance for her piano version of the title track from her Joanne album.
Cooper won’t join Gaga for the Grammy performance because he’ll be in London that same night at the BAFTAs representing A Star is Born, which has seven nominations. Cooper directed, co-starred, co-wrote and co-produced A Star is Born.
The Grammys take place Sunday at the Staples Center in Los Angeles and will air live on CBS. Alicia Keys will host.
