JENNIFER LAWRENCE AND COOKE MARONEY ARE ENGAGED: The Oscar-winning actress Jennifer Lawrence is engaged to marry Cooke Maroney, a 34-year-old art dealer. (He directs the Gladstone Gallery). The 28-year-old Hunger Games star met him through her long-time friend Laura Simpson, according to reports. A wedding date has not yet been set. (ET)

JUSSIE SMOLLETT RETURNS TO SET: Jussie Smollett has returned to the set of Empire in Chicago, TMZ reports, adding that detectives want to speak with him and continue their ongoing investigation. Smollett was assaulted last week by two unidentified assailants. (TMZ)

DID MICHAEL BOLTON FALL ASLEEP ON LIVE TV? Michael Bolton appeared to catch some zzzs pre-interview with an Australian morning show. The singer was a guest on The Morning Show and after the hosts gave a big intro and the camera turned to him, his eyes were closed and he didn’t answer. Eventually he perked up, but then said he couldn’t hear anything (he wasn’t in the studio). Eventually, the technical glitches were smoothed out, and the interview proceeded. (The Blast)

On Conan, the action star repeatedly encouraged the host, telling him is butt is not “concave,” even offering to touch it in a segment that felt very pre-#MeToo. Even Van Damme was blushing. JEFF LEWIS SAYS ESTRANGED PARTNER GAGE EDWARD IS DATING: Flipping Out‘s Jeff Lewis says that his partner of 10 years, Gage Edwards, is dating someone else.
